We are seeking a (Part-Time) Sales Associate to join SSIC in order to handle our appointment calendar, assist our clients in locating our expanding services, and answer any questions they may have throughout their time with us. The Sales Associate will also provide executive support to SSIC's President.

Answering phone, email and scheduling/manage appointments;
Greeting customers when they enter our office;
Answering customers' questions to help them find the services they are looking for;
Suggest services to customers based on their intentions;
Enter sales data and customer data into the company database;
Keep records of daily sales activities; and· Support to the President.
Requirements and skills
Interest in fishing tackle industry
Proven work experience as a Sales Associate or similar role at least 1 year.
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Sales Associate will be a plus
Problem solving and planning skills focused on the ability to plan, prioritize and execute
Extensive knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Job Types: (Part-time) with a fixed term contractPart-time

Social Media Specialist
SSIC is currently looking for a Social Media Specialist to complement our current team in Seattle Washington. Qualified candidates will be responsible for attracting and engaging with targeted virtual communities and networks users.As a successful Social Media Specialist, you will have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.You are responsible for starting and joining relevant conversations on behalf of SSIC. Activities include growing relevant followers, engaging with users, promoting products, finding industry influencers, publishing timely news, monitoring and responding to brand mentions, staying informed on industry topics, and communicating our corporate message.The goal is to gradually achieve higher engagement, brand awareness, and website traffic by strategically utilizing all relevant social media channels and online tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all social media channels on a routine basis including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, benchmarking, channel selection, messaging and audience identification.

• Generate, edit, share, and publish periodical content (text, images, videos, infographics, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage.

• Ensure consistent branding of various posts, messages and publications.

• Optimize company pages within each platform to increase visibility, engagement and followers.

• Monitor, report, and respond to all brand mentions (both tagged and otherwise).

• Moderate communication and conversations to ensure positive outcomes.

• Risk management ensuring all public activity is compliant with regulations and negative press is avoided.

• Analyze social channels to measure the performance of social activities.

• Create detailed reports to indicate growth of social media channels over time and ROI.

• Utilize social media best practices across all social media platforms.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely posts of public announcements such as press releases, sales, new products, etc.

• Perform other related duties as requested by SSIC.

Requirements

• Completion of a 3 - year post-secondary diploma in Marketing, publishing, communications, or another related field.

• One - year experience working in social media.

• Strong communication skills in writing, editing, and imagery selection.

• Analytical skills to measure social performance and ROI.

• Well organized with advanced knowledge of US social media platforms.

• Positive attitude, detail oriented, and good multi-tasking skills.

• Fully proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

• Prior knowledge about the death care, healthcare or another highly regulated industry is a plus.

• This position will require you to temporarily work remotely to comply with the current COVID -19 social distancing guidelines.
